Vilamoura.Vilamoura is the name given to an area rather than to any actual town. It is outstanding in that it is one of the largest single tourist complex's in Europe and covers some 2.000 hectares of land. The land is variable in its vegetation, some parts covered in pine forests whilst others open recovered marshland. Vilamoura is a special place, a unique leisure and recreation resort community where the pace of life is so easy it feels like summer all year round.

The apartment is a short walk from Praia da Falesia beach, one of the finest and longest beaches in the Algarve. It's a a spectacularly long uncrowded beach with beautiful surrounding countryside. Backed by low red and white sandstone cliffs and pine woods, Praia da Falesia beach runs for miles in either direction, with the resort of Vilamoura to the east and Albufeira to the west.
The sheer size of Praia da Falesia beach guarantees plenty of space for everyone. Praia da Falesia beach has gently shelving golden sand and exceptionally safe conditions for swimming and children.There is a decked boardwalk at the back of the beach to make walking easier (especially good for prams) and excellent restuarants dotted along the beach.

Vilamoura The Old Course Par 73 -18 Holes 6,316 meters The Vilamoura Old Course is probably one of the best known courses in the Algarve, if not Europe. This course is laid out along the lines of a classic British Design, one of solitude and tranquillity. The Vilamoura Old Course is considered to be a real treat for golfers. Victoria Arnold Palmer's most recent project in Europe, the Victoria Course is destined to become one of the best and most sophisticated golf courses around. This most recently built course in Vilamoura, which opened in 2004, is a par-72 measuring 6,505 metres (7,105 yards). The Victoria Course is laid out in amongst no fewer than 22 lakes totalling about 11 hectares and interconnected by several waterfall features, which give it great character. www.vilamouragolf.com Vilamoura Millenium 18 Holes, Par 72, 6,143 metres A completely new front nine compliments the extensively reshaped original north loop of the previous Laguna Course. Well-established UK golf architects Hawtree & Sons were contracted to plan this modification and design work for Vilamoura Millennium which has culminated in the creation of the new, exciting 18-hole Millennium Golf Course.
Vilamoura Laguna Course 18 Holes, Par 72, 6,133 metres More like a parkland course where water hazards play a major part and often demand precise planning of both tee and fairway shots. Extensive work has improved the standard and appearance of all three courses, which will be amongst the best Portuguese courses in a few years time. Vilamoura Pinhal 18 Holes Par 72 (SSS 71) - Length Meters 6,300 Pinhal winds its way through the umbrella pines which the Algarve courses have become famous for, undulating landscape and some tricky approaches to greens making it more difficult than first thought. Water comes into play on several holes and there is a superb modern Club House with all facilities, including a driving range. Vila Sol Golf Club 18 holes 6320 Metres Par 72. Plus a nine hole course. Created by Donald Steel in 1991, the Vila Sol Golf Course is adorned with pine, cork-oak, fig and almond trees. It offers a full 27 holes of dynamic playing set admidst magnificent scenery. It encourages a game of tremendous flexibility, with three loops of 9 holes, each delivering separate and distinct types of challenge.
